Free tennis lessons all summer long in Malmö

‘Tennis Promotes Fair Play Across Malmö’ is a summer project run by Fair Play Tennis Club in collaboration with dedicated partners. Over the summer, we are offering free tennis coaching in Malmö on six open tarmac courts around the city – an initiative promoting the joy of exercise, community spirit and sustainability.

The project is aimed at anyone who wants to give tennis a go or play more over the summer. Our coaches are on hand every week to help both beginners and more experienced players improve and have fun together.

Free tennis – and equipment to keep playing with

To encourage participants to continue playing tennis even after the training sessions, we are giving away equipment to regular participants. A total of 350 tennis rackets and 1,500 tennis balls will be handed out over the summer.

Anyone who attends at least two sessions and plays will receive their own tennis racket and four balls (whilst stocks last). In this way, the game can continue even when our coaches are not there and after the project has ended.

 

Tennis, respect and fair play

Our core values are central to everything we do. All participants are therefore given a core values card setting out messages of respect, openness and fair play.
The aim of the project is to:

• To inspire more children, young people and adults to discover tennis
• Promote positive values through sport
• Create opportunities for physical activity and social spaces in Malmö’s neighbourhoods

Everyone is welcome – regardless of age, gender, religion or background.

Here’s where you can play tennis for free in Malmö this summer

During the summer, we run sessions at six tennis courts across Malmö. Coaches are on hand at each court for two hours every week.

How to take part

• No registration required
• Rackets and balls are available to borrow
