The next step in your tennis career 

The Swedish Tennis Academy is run by Fair Play TK in close collaboration with partners, clubs and players. The Academy is aimed at competitive players aged around eleven and above, and its aim is to create the best possible conditions for development through training and competition.

The programme is led by David Ekerot, who is in charge. Together with Joakim Henriksson, who is responsible for competition travel, they plan the players’ training and competition schedules. They are also supported by several of the club’s full-time coaches.

Team training

Team training is based on independence, responsibility and a strong culture of constructive criticism. The players take the initiative themselves to organise their training sessions and train together in groups of two or more.

The focus is on competition-style training where technique, tactics, physical fitness and mental aspects are interwoven. This approach offers great flexibility and makes it possible to adapt the volume and intensity of training to individual needs.

Team training develops a sense of responsibility and prepares players for an international competitive environment, where self-organisation and sparring are a natural part of everyday life.

Elite training and competition trips with a coach

The Swedish Tennis Academy offers elite training throughout the year, tailored to the season. Players can train for up to two sessions a day and have access to a gym and sports medicine expertise for physical development, injury prevention and rehabilitation. We are happy to collaborate with players’ home coaches and tailor the programme to individual goals.

At selected international tournaments, we also provide an on-site coach. Tournament trips are an important part of a player’s development and offer support both on and off the course.
