Malmö Tennis High School

At Malmö Tennisgymnasium, talented and ambitious players have the opportunity to combine their studies with high-level tennis. Fair Play TK runs the nationally accredited sports education programme (NIU) in collaboration with Malmö City Council and the Swedish Tennis Association.

The players train for 9–18 hours a week at the System Verification Fair Play Stadium, with outdoor training at the Limhamn Tennis Centre. The best players are given the opportunity to train with Fair Play’s first team and receive support from coaches and match officials at both national and international competitions.

Pupils undergo regular ‘fitness profile’ assessments and, where necessary, have access to a physiotherapist, a doctor and a sports psychologist.

Malmö Sports Upper Secondary School offers the following sports-focused programmes:

• Social Sciences, SP Physical Education
• Natural Sciences, NV Sports
• Economics, EK-PE
• Business and Administration, HP Sport

Important dates

1 December – Deadline for applications to the Swedish Tennis Association (www.tennis.se).
1 February – Application for the upper secondary programme (via the primary school).
