Rejchtman Vinciguerra struck on home turf

William Rejchtman Vinciguerra triumphed on home soil and claimed his first senior doubles title when, partnering Karl Friberg, he won the Ström & Gulliksson Malmö Open. 

The Swedish pair put in a flawless performance in the final, defeating Eric Ahren Moonga and Jonathan Mridha 6-0, 6-2. 

- “We’ve played well all week and today we played our best match. It’s great fun to win a title,” said William Rejchtman Vinciguerra after their victory in the final at Limhamn Tennis Centre. 

It got off to a good start with a victory over the top-seeded Dutch pair Brian Bozemoj and Stijn Pel in the first round, and things just kept going from there. 

- “We complement each other well and have great chemistry on the track. It seems to be working,” says Karl Friberg, who won two titles in Malmö.

In an all-Swedish final, he defeated John Hallquist Lithen in straight sets.
